Scene 1
Michael is leaning against a light pole smoking a cigarette with Stacy and Susan standing on both sides of him talking. Amber is standing slightly behind disgusted by Michael’s behavior.
While scene is going on (in background)…
Lainey: “You’re cool because you smoke…you have friends, you ‘fit in’, and life is Great!” “FREEZE!!!”
Scene 2
Picture on screen is still the same, but picture is still.(frozen)
Voice in background says…
Lainey: “WRONG. What you don’t know is that while you’re puffing away on that cigarette…you’re teeth are rotting away and turning yellow. And that cigarette is causing you to have some nasty B.O.”
While the speaker is talking, the camera zooms in to get a close-up of the smoker and the disgusted girl.
Scene 3
Music plays quietly in background.
Kasey: “This is what smoking can lead to…”
Pictures shown on screen of lung cancer patients, smoker’s lungs, and etc.
Scene 4
Lainey and Kasey walk on white set.
Lainey: “The American Cancer Society says that cigarettes kill more Americans than alcohol, car accidents, AIDS, suicide, homicide, and illegal drugs combined.”
Kasey: “So what is it you don’t get? This could be you, watching your life slip through your fingers with every puff you take. It’s bad enough that you don’t care, but your killing those of us that do.”
