Scene 1
Girls are discussing hot guy (across the room).
Girl 1: “Wow there is a really hot guy over there!” (girls look over) “Don’t look, don’t look! He might see us! Who’s going to go talk to him?”
Girl 1 and 3 tell Girl 2 that she should go.
Girl 2: “No, I don’t want to go, you go!” (to Girl 3)
Girl 1: “Yes you go!” (also to Girl 3)
Girl 3: “Are you sure?” (both Girls urge her) “O.K. how do I look?”
Girl 1 and 2: “Fine.”
Scene 2
Girl 3 walks to guy.
Girl 3: “Hi”
Guy: “Hey” (camera zooms in to his mouth). His smile exposes his teeth (cavities and stains appear, indicating spit tobacco use).
Girl 3 backs away, looking disgusted, goes to girlfriends (who were watching).
All girls chat, concerning their disgust about the guy’s mouth.
Girl 2: “Maybe that guy?” (pointing in other direction, indicating someone else)
Quote – 98% of guy’s say that their friends don’t mind that they use tobacco. Oddly, there are no figures on how their girlfriends feel.
